Bhoot Police (Movie Review)

Bhoot Police intends to expose the fraudsters. It tries to mock superstitions and blind faith.

Pavan Kirpalani depicts the film, and the producers of the movie are Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Javed Jaffrey also star.

BHOOT POLICE are about two tantriks who meet while warding off an evil ghost. Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor, in the roles of Vibhooti and Chiraunji, are fake ghostbusters.

They are Ullat Baba’s (Saurabh Sachdeva) sons, who died when Chiraunji was 5. Vibhooti disbelieves in ghosts and spirits. Vibhooti’s job goals include women (any type) and money. The younger brother desires to carry on his late father’s (Ullat baba) legacy by doing excellent work. So

far, they have encountered no evil spirits in multiple cases. Rather than

informing their patrons of the truth, Vibhooti and Chiraunji would pretend to exorcise the ghost in exchange for a large sum. Chiraunji, on the other hand, believes in ghosts and is eager to confront a malevolent spirit.

When they meet Maya, they get their chance (Yami Gautam). Silawar Tea Factory and a large estate. Her sister Kanika (Jacqueline Fernandez) resides here along with Yami. Yami reveals before them that she, including other farmers, had experienced a ghost in the surrounding area of the factory.

A similar spirit was spotted 27 years ago, and Ullat Baba imprisoned it in a pot and kept it safe in a jungle. Can the two protect the wealthy-turned bankrupt sisters from the night-hunting aatma?

Vibhooti, who does not believe in ghosts, challenges the kichkandi in public and mocks on Aatma. Lata (Jamie Lever) and Vinod (Rupesh Tillu) encounter the kichkandi that night. Her (Jamie) presence is felt here. We love her role singing Aishwarya Rai’s lovely romantic song Aao Naa while her spouse strains to pee.

After a few days, many more workers claim to have seen the kichkandi, although their descriptions vary. They find the tree where the kichkandi was placed in the pot one night, Vibhooti and Chiraunji.

Chiraunji is surprised to see the pot intact. The spirit is still inside. So he determines that the current spirit affecting the estate is unique. Worse, Vibhooti thinks their father was a conman, and the marijuana is not wicked. He breaks it to show his point. What occurs next is the film’s plot.

The horror-comedy by Pavan Kirpalani is amusing. The setting and concept immediately draw in. It is unintentionally funny, and one should admire Saif Ali Khan’s comic timing and sense of humor when he speaks in a different dialect with an anglicized accent. Arjun and Yami fared well in their roles.

Javed Jaffery is another comedienne who shines here. He plays a limited but unique character. He lands his mark when he recites a goat’s vocals to stay alive. He (Javed Jaffery) ends up hinting at a remake of the film. It can be seen with friends and family.

I give it 3.5/5 for the concept and comedy.
